Avances y sugerencia

Hola de nuevo! Que bueno que la wiki halla crecido desde hace ya un tiempo, principalmente por tus contribuciones. Me gustaría darte una sugerencia, haber si con ella el crecimiento de la wiki y la participación en ella aumenta un poco. En otras wikis como por ejemplo en quechua, cuendo estas son pequeñas se crean como páginas donde existe una plantilla base para la elaboración de nuevos artículos. Por ejemplo, aquí tienes la guía base para elaborar artículos sobre ciudades, de esta manera incluso las personas con conocimiento bajo o incluso nulo del idioma pueden colaborar dedicando un poco de su tiempo. Hola nuevamente

No hay problema, y dsescuida que mereces el puesto! =) Por lo pronto también he regresado aquí por contar con algo más de tiempo hace unos días, como habrás visto he creado las plantillas: Template:Writer y Template:Language, si bien aún necesitan algunas traducciones que espero pronto podamos conseguir, también arreglé colocó algunas categorías esenciales (a mi humilde opinión) en la portada. Quien sabe pronto sea necesario una pequeña reorganización de una portada básica, la Wiki en SiSwati sigue siendo pequeña, pero (considero) con regular potencial en un mediano plazo. Poco a poco trataré de contribuir con mi granito de arena como habrás visto y hasta entonces también espero que algunos otros sientan inquitud por esta wiki y se animen a ayudar. Interface

Hola Jatrobat! Ahora que eres administrador, no se si te parecería cambiar un poco la interface d el wiki: por ejemplo search podría reemplazarse por ku-cálata, y go por kú-hámba, entre otras cosas. Salu2!--Kanon6917 15:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

• Hola! Para cambiar la interface sólo dirígete aquí: special:Allmessages y busca donde se mencione la palabra search y go en la columna izquierda; una vez que ubiques los lugares donde se mencionan verifica que a su derecha diga lo mismo, de ese modo quiere decir que esa función (mencionada en la izq) aparece en la wikipedia con el nombre dado en la columna derecha. Para modificar el nombre sólo clickea donde diga (por ejemplo) search, y te aparecera a manera de artículo una página para editar, allí sólo debes cambiar el nombre en inglés por el de swazi. Sobre las traducciones de interface, no olvides que puedes hacer lo que te dice Warburg de modo que se traduce lo mismo para todos los proyectos en SiSwati, o si no como te decía pero tendrías que traducir de nuevo en cada caso. Considero que la idea de Warburg puede ser más acertada en este caso. No olvides que cuando lo hagas no sólo se menciona en un sólo caso la palabra go, hay diversas situaciones en las que se menciona (por lo menos 5 en la wiki) y se debería sustituir por kú-hámba en cada caso. That's true, but if it's a "former country", then it would probably be worthwhile not to include it at all, and just list iSebhiya and iMonthenekho individually. HIV/AIDS

I am an active user on several other wikis, including the Zulu projects (very similar Nguni language, as you know) and the Setswana Wikipedia. How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.
